Crimson Lips

Crimson Lips

A Poem by Milena Grubor

In midnight’s breath, a whisper calls,
From cursed depths where darkness falls.
A creature with eyes like burning coal,
A hunger born to tear the soul.

It crawls through rooms of death’s embrace,
A twisted form, a ghastly trace.
Its fingers drip with blood and sin,
As innocence is cast within.

In gilded halls, where secrets weep,
Lies wake the dead, their graves to keep.
Coffins open, chains that clang,
A wicked hymn, a deathbell’s rang.

The monster smiles with crimson lips,
"You are one with me," as darkness grips.
Forever bound, no hope, no plea,
Lost in the void, eternally.
