Malevolent

Malevolent

A Poem by Milena Grubor

In a haunted palace of broken glass,
Where time won’t weep and saints won’t pass,
Three demons stir where silence bleeds,
And feast like wolves on mortal needs.

One wears silk and sings through sleep,
With thorn-spun eyes and secrets deep.
She dances close as dreamers moan,
And drinks their thoughts like marrowed bone.

Another roams through graveyard gates,
Dragging chains of long-lost fates.
She leaves warm hearts all sucked and dry,
Then feeds on prayers as dead still cry.

The last walks barefoot through the flame,
No face, no voice, yet knows your name.
She threads your life through needles of sin,
And cracks the soul from deep within.

Beware the hour the moon hangs low,
Don’t trust the truths you think you know.
For in the dark, they twist and rise,
To curse your dreams and gouge your eyes.
