Eternal

Eternal

A Poem by Milena Grubor

Beneath my bones, the fire howls,

A blaze that rends the mortal prowls.
No whispered lies or soft caress,
But molten storms that sear and press.

No chains of man can hold this flame,
No time’s decay can dim its name.
It burns a pyre, fierce and grim,
A ghostly sentinel on edges dim.

It consumes, yet births anew,
Tearing down to build what's true.
Beneath the warmth of final breath,
I burn with love that conquers death.

Souls crash on tides forever torn,
In chaos’ grasp, where passions mourn.
Herz in Flammen, no throne to claim,
A wild blaze, a boundless flame.

No bind can hold, no clock erase
This savage, raw, eternal grace.
In silence cracked and piercing cry,
The burning heart will never die.

This gave me goosebumps! So much passion and beauty in each and every line. I will forever remember this phrase among many, “a burning heart will never die.”

I loved the rhyme scheme; plus the art work brought your descriptive writing to life even more so. Keep writing great pieces like such.
