Watermelon SugarA Poem by Arly ParentIn watermelon sugar lies the death of a man, doing the only thing only a watermelon can lay low the giant straight, dark, and tall beat down the intellectual to a pulp in front of all
In watermelon sugar lies the face of a child,
smiling, in its place beneath it all beneath it all
for every man is a boy when there is watermelon on his face
for every bite and gram of sugar puts him in his place
he's a boy forever always a man he will never be as long as watermelon sugar runs through his veins he'll never be set free
