Never thought I would fall

Giving me a fresh start 
Erasing all my pain 
Reviving my dormant heart 
  
Entranced by your gentle caress 
Fulfilled by your heartfelt words 
Dizzy from your heavenly scent 
Enraptured by your soulful gaze 
  
My happiness a mere fantasy 
Your love a vacant illusion 
Breaking my spirit as you leave 
You fill me only with confusion 
  
Your indecision tortures me 
Each day I lose another part 
Each piece bears your name 
Each piece torn from my heart 
  
I will forget the pain you caused 
As the pieces lay shattered on the floor
