Lack of luster
Tarnished and bedraggled
Was once new and treasured
Now aged and forgotten

Discarded and disposed
Dispensed upon the breeze
Carried like a seed
Traveling to re grow

Love treated so harshly
Should be held and cherished
Locked in the bearers depths
Waiting to be released

Embraced by a new heart
Embraced by a new soul
Put upon a pedestal

Graced with a new glow
