Take a Second

Take a Second to Breathe.
Take a second to think;
Take a second to see how far you've come,
And how far you still must go.

Take a second to see
How you're no longer trembling in fear,
But take a second to remember
That you're still healing.
And that you still may fall
And break, and hurt again.

But that's okay.

Just take a second to breathe,
And take a second to think.

Then keep on living.
