Sanctuary

One of my first poems.

Running To The

lake.

The sanctuary Of her

Soul.

Keeping her

Secrets.

Her faith.

Her hope.

Her Sanctuary Of

Water.

Running.

Because,

If you could go to a place

Where you would Be Free,

Wouldn’t you

Run

There Too?

this is a good start, and I can totally see where you are going with this. I can also relate, I go to the water to escape. Perhaps write about the water, how when you are there it washes away the problems..or they drown in it..leaving you at peace? How do you feel when you are there.. how does it fix you? That is your poem :) .. very good start .. you have great potential!!!

Not a bad start and not a bad idea either, I loved the ending.
Some of the periods kind of bothered me though
