Much too afraid of the feelings I have

much too broken is my heart from the pain

much to dead to live the life I want

much too close to my heart you had been

much too sharp were the words that were said

much too alone is the way that I feel

much too careless I have been with my life

much too real are the emotions I conceal

much too distant are our hearts

much too few were the people who cared

much too crazy were my dreams of life

much too many were the tears that I shed

much too long have I mourned the loss of love

much too short was that actual time

much too silly are the wishes I have made

much too wild are the dreams for a life

much too you did I give my life away

much too soft was my heart, but no more
