I wrote it when i was 14 when i had a crush on a Friend,and i really had some strong feelings for this guy,but i knew if i let my heart out i would probably lose my friendship so that what the poem talks about

Afraid to tell you how I really feel about you. Afraid to tell other about my feeling to-wards you.Afraid to say that I love you.Afraid to make to make a move. Afraid to even love you.

 

Yet I'm afraid to lose you as i lost others  by letting my heart too much.some times I  just wish I could tell you how i really feel . How i really love you. How i really need you.

 

Yet inside I'm real afraid to lose a good thing.Afraid that good thing will turn into a bad thing.Afraid you will abundant me for letting my heart out to you,because you probably won't be  able to handle knowing the fact that I have strong feelings for you.

 

I really don't want to lose this friendship between us. Even thou i wish we could be more then just Friends.

Yet I'd rather be your Friend the nothing at all.That's why I'm so afraid to tell you how I feel.
