If there was one thing that I could be certain about,

which I would be guaranteed,

I’ll take romance.

 

If there was one person,

who longed for my soul,

looking for only my hand to hold.

I’ll take romance.

 

If there was one person,

who’s heart had been broken,

looking for that one person to mend it back into place,

I’d come running over with my glue gun, putting everything back together the way it should be.

I’ll take romance.

 

If there was one person,

who could prove to me that they were different,

that not all men out there are the same.

I’ll take romance

 

If there was one person,

who could tell me that they loved me, and meant it.

I’d take romance.
