Exhibit A

Exhibit A

A Poem by Kristina Moulaison

A gaping hole looms
mammoth sized
inside of me.
An instant freeze occurred
where most people
keep souls.
I am enclosed in amber.
Viewing life
like a museum exhibit.
Reading the captions
and pondering
the significance,
the irony,
of so many wax people
looking lifelike
behind all this glass.
I lean in and draw the
letters of my name
in the vapor. I breathe
and watch it disappear,
closing my eyes
to block out
the reflection.

Ohhh yeah, exhibit A has a certain creepy feeling to it, kind of gothic touch there.
