LonelyA Poem by mitcheylost love
If ever I walk this street, I would take every step with you.
If ever I see you again, the whole world would be bereft of embrace for I would lavish all on you. I've sought you, upturning all that lay arranged. I've shouted your name, but the winds beckon on me stop. Together we laughed, and all the world's beauty laughed with us. We screamed into the ocean, till silence swallowed our voices. Did I hurt you? Did I love you? Whatever the gain, I am willing to live the pain. For what is my stay without you? My smile without your eyes? My song without your ears? Bid me come to you, for I have forever bid you come to me. I lay me asleep till that day when your kiss shall me awake. © 2014 mitchey |
