Things you don't know

What people don't see

You say you know yourself too well,

But I know things that you don't,

There are somethings you just can't tell,

Sometimes, I just won't say,

The way your eyes light up with joy,

How you blush when you are shy,

The way your eyes glistens when you're about to cry,

How I can see the pain that you hide.

Little things like these,

Are the things that you hardly notice,

Because you don't know that without them,

You'd be incomplete.

Awesome poem! I really enjoy the detail you go into as to prove you can't know everything about yourself. There's so many things we instinctly do that we don't notice and those around us catch on real quick. Nice poem!
