What Happened Here

What Happened Here

A Chapter by Marie Kinnett

But when she looked around she saw that her grandparents were gone. There was no note saying where they went. She ran back to where the wolf was and saw Jacob. She ran to him and started crying, he asked “What happened?” He was confused about what was happening. She was ok when she left, crying when she came back. She calmed down and said “My grandparents are gone and there is no note of where they went.” He said “They probably forgot but to be safe you should go in the RV and I will stay outside and keep watch.”

She said “I’m scared, can you be inside the RV with me?” He looked at her and saw she was shaking so he said “Yes, I’ll stay in the RV instead.” She nodded and started walking to the RV but he was right behind her. He was still wondering why she kissed him as a wolf on the nose and not the head, he was going to ask but they reached the RV already. They went inside, he changed into a wolf and she laid down on the couch. He laid on the floor in front of the couch and stayed watch.

It was Friday and her grandparents were still gone, so she started getting worried. Jacob reassured her that they were okay and cooked them breakfast. It was eggs and bacon. They ate in silence and then Alex went and washed the dishes and changed her clothes.  Afterwards she brought some clothes for Jacob and he told her to stay at the door so nothing happened. He changed and they went into the woods, he turned into the wolf and trot beside her.
