Blood River

Blood River

A Poem by Celtore

You have stolen everything
Your hands cover my mouth to keep me from screaming.
I only want you to remain true
I only wanted you
Flowing rivers of blood soak through my shirt
Is it mine, is it yours? Though neither can heal my hurt
Your power is real to me
As real as pain and tears
I have loved you for all of these years
You have taken everything
Torn it to shreds
You allow the pieces to be swallowed by the blood river
My tears fall nameless into the blood river
I am getting weaker now, and I know now that the blood is mine.I wish I coul have seen you one last time.
