A placed warmed by the sun

A placed where others are warmed by you

Where the sounds of melodic music

Sweep you into a lulled trance of happiness

Like when you place you ear on top of a heads cat

And are you are instantly calmed by it’s purr

I'm more of a dog person. A couple of nights ago my fiance took me to a new New Age shop nearby and the owner had a black cat. I'd had a rough day and really didn't want to be there, but this cat just climbed up in my lap -- after he had run away from several other people! I was shocked and it made me feel special. Cats do have a calming effect, as do dogs, but with their penchant toward independance, it just seems more special when they want to befriend you. Thanks for the write.
