I do not like to settle, to live a lie. Loneliness and security is not love.

I am scared of myself;
I am scared
to drown in your kiss;
Scared to lose myself,
in this game called love.
I am frightened by your certainty,
frightened by your calm;
Frightened to lose myself,
in someone else’s dream.
To love being in love,
is not a love I cherish;
To love being loved,

People say I am picky and scared and therefore I avoid getting seriously involved with guy. I am picky, a little fragile and therefore cautious. True! I do not wish to settle for something just because it is better then the hell I lived with my ex.

I believe it does leave one fearful of love after surviving a bad relationship. You should be picky. You will know when it is a love deserving of you. Well written my friend.
