Dear Cindy

Dear Cindy

A Poem by Dunlack

Dear: Cindy
I really want you to know that I have an eye on you...Notice I said an eye; if I tag my other eye along for this breath taking ride, I will be permanently locked in this tunnel of love...With only one exit; the exit leading to your heart...I know this sounds oh so sweet, but Cindy I must admit it's either a pass or fail. I would be less of a man if I didn't acknowledge my lust for you...I lust for your mind, body, and soul. Cindy I'm that kid dying to play in your sand-box from sun up to sun down...I hope that didn't sound too childish. Cindy your persona has a magnetic grasp on me...Honestly it's only a matter of time...Do I fear a beautiful outcome? That's a strong possibility. Maybe I'm hesitant to tag that other eye along, because I'm afraid my eyes will chauffeur my heart to you...On the other who cares if my skin resembles the soil; which is rich in minerals, and your eyes resembles the deep blue sea...The home of the earth's most graceful creatures. I can only come up with a million excuses of why I'm not showing my hand, but I rather put all of my cards on the table...Revealing everything to you. Cindy I know this is far from a game, so I would like to end this letter by saying you have my full attention; not just half...And I hope you're standing at the gate...My heart will be arriving very shortly...

Sincerely: My Imagination
