Doesn't rhyme.

Don't let young love distract you,

you can't be wise and in love at the same time.

It's not worth your time,

even though it's unevitable.

But always remember,

future comes first.

The poem is simple and short, but it expresses exactly what I felt growing up.

Now that I'm older, there are things I feel I may have missed out on, but at the same time I do not regret the decisions I made.

It's true yet sometimes you allow yourself to get caught up in love and you lose sight of your future. I think this has a great message in that you have to remember what is the most important. Nicely done.
