Pass on By

Pass on By

A Poem by mnicorata
"

A poem I wrote one day when I was alone late at night.

"

For this moment I caress

And drift away into the serene

Till the winter flies on by

With embers fading into breeze

Like clockwork spinning again

To and fro the day lies waste

Around the lands do compress

And the winter lends a taste

The taste of wonder and light

To this I lend a given ear

For into this endless escape

Memories gone, just to disappear

Lazy yet again on my own

No beacon to call me home

I await patiently for the tide

Grazing once more I am alone
