The Coming Burst

The Coming Burst

A Poem by mnicorata

Another burst at the seams

When trouble begins afloat

A clench of the stomach

And extends from the bloat

To stand up at its course

As it starts to all unfold

Only refuge is some sleep

Coming in upon the cold

All this within just hours

Nay to burst at the core

Hear all the caustic tone

Just knocking at my door

This near belch draws out

Time ticks the fewer close

Out from a morbid closure

I forgive this body my host
