{...reflection...}A Poem by Christopher Michael Smith
I saw my self today.
I was not dressed in typical flesh of material and biology. Today, I was not me. I was my own reflection, Mirrored in all things... I was you, I was he. I was the smallest of critters crawling upon the sleeve. I was above and below, Here and there. I was the light of the stars, Fully aware. I was a rebellious teen, Emotions galore. I was the sparkle that could sparkle no more. I was youthful flesh, & ageless death. I was the fabric that could not get wet. I was the star that pulsed with a faint twinkle. I was inside the crevice of the world's deepest wrinkle. I was chewed up gum that stuck to the shoe in the street. I was light and dark. I was duality. I was a representation of my higher self. I was the creator of my reality. I was a holographic dimension of this daily, waking dream. I was enlightened to higher visions and complete understanding. I was the murderer and the saint. I was the elements of the periodical table taught in chemistry. I am you, & I am me. I am no longer lost in this world. I found me in everything....
