Seasons

Seasons

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

How I feel

"

Seasons

Spring into summer; rebirth everywhere

You soak up the sun, as you watch things grow

So relaxing, those summer nights

Those days seem endless, forever and timeless

But little by little, almost imperceptibly,

Fall closes it’s icy arms around you

Cold winds seem to buffet you, and cold rain

Beats down from seemingly on high

And you long for those lost days of old

When things seemed much brighter,

When time didn’t seem to fly by

When you were happy under the sun

Everything now seems so uncertain
