It's Complicated!

So many reasons!

It’s Complicated!

 

 

The scenes of heartbreak showing on the T.V. screen

 

Are hard to watch, but the roots of our gun problem are vast

 

There are many more reasons than just needing stricter laws;

 

There’s the issue of mental health,

 

There’s the issue of desensitizing ‘games’,

 

Where you score more points for the more you kill;

 

Teaching kids that shooting someone somehow isn’t real

 

There’s the issue of our gun culture,

 

That’s teaching children that the best, and only,

 

Way to solve problems is though violence

 

And there’s other reasons I haven’t touched on,

 

To solve the gun problem definitely won’t be easy,

 

But we’ve GOT to start somewhere, because the status quo is unacceptable!
