Hollow Feeling

Hollow Feeling

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

My usual state of mind on a Sunday evening!

"

Hollow Feeling

Ever have a listless feeling, and you can’t explain why?

A vague uneasy feeling; that is my

Waterloo; it’ll undo me in the end,

it threatens to drown me, I cannot pretend

A constant fight, one I’m losing,

to stay upbeat; it’s not of my choosing

Sometimes or always it’s kind of tough,

to stay positive with the things you’re thinking of

I can’t explain it, seems there’s nothing I can do,

this uneasy feeling leaves me with the blues
