The New Second Ammendment

Not really a story, not a poem, but I had to choose between the two; an updated 2nd Amendment to reflect what the N.R.A wants!

The New Second Amendment

 

Today, the 2nd Amendment is under assault (rifles) like never before.  Criticism has been leveled at it because critics say it was written for a time when Uncle Ebenezer hunted squirrels for his supper with a single-shot musket, and the Founders had no idea about today’s modern high-capacity military-grade weapons, So, we, the gun-loving, fun-loving leaders of American’s right to keep an arsenal in their homes, the N.R.A., has decided to update the 2nd Amendment to more represent modern times:

 

Congress shall pass no law

 

There you have it; simple and direct, from the leadership of the  N.R.A!
