What should I do with these leftover pieces?

A Poem From Leftover Thoughts!

Sitting here; what should I write about?

I’ve got nothing but bits and pieces of thought

Oh well, here goes nothing;

A one-eyed owl keeps watch on the barn;

A cross-eyed stranger stares back from the mirror

An old man plays solitaire and waves to the crowd

A lonely widow waits by the phone,

willing someone will take away her pain

A loner sits alone in his room,

watching out his window as the children play,

dreaming of joining in, but knowing he won’t

A mangy dog watches the spoiled poodle with envy,

with his golden collar, and his snobby owner

A homeless man sleeps under the bridge,

and dreams of castles, where he once lived

Well, looks like that’s it for today, maybe tomorrow
