Dark Corner

 

There’s a dark corner; covered with cobwebs,

 

in my head, usually out of sight, out of mind,

 

where I keep all my darkest thoughts,

 

such as “what if?”; and “If that were to happen...”

 

I know, I know, thinking such thoughts

 

won’t do me any good, but think them I do

 

 every once in a while
