Viking in Disguise

My distant relatives were not so nice

Old Uncle Sven and Aunt Helga were nice enough,

I guess, but holiday’s were lacking something,

people used to attest to that fact

I don’t know, Odenmas doesn’t quite have

the same ring as Christmas, now does it?

And Halloween?  Instead of going door-to-door,

begging for treats, they’d go from village to village,

plundering; and they’d dress up all right,

dress up as Vikings; and when the neighbors saw them coming,

they’d panic, and bury the candy

Yes, I’m a Viking in disguise; Scandinavian half way

The other half is Irish, so you’d do well not to piss me off!

Nice! Such rich history! The end was so cool, too! :)
