It's Always Something

It's Always Something

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Constant worry

"

Worry, worry, worry, sounds it's constant drumbeat,

beating my battered brain senseless

Seems I dream up far-fetched scenarios

to constantly worry about, and then move on to the next

An endless loop that plays the latest possible disaster

over and over in my head; just when I've moved beyond

one thing to worry over, the next takes it's place

Yep. That's what it can be like. We torture ourselves with worry, don't we? Expressed well here.

Thank you very much!
Yeahh you did a great job with this, you pretty much summed up what happens to most people quite well. You created an atmosphere of anxiety with your diction and rhythm and that only added to the efficiency of your piece. Good work.

Thank you!
Most people can understand where you're coming from and your idea of putting the words to let the poem flow is well written... great job :)
