Sometimes

Sometimes, I feel like screaming, but I'll take out

 

my frustrations on my hapless keyboard instead.

 

Sometimes, I'll crack myself up, and I have to write it down

 

Sometimes, I sit and stare for hours at a blank screen,

 

hoping against hope that something, anything,

 

pops into my head that interests me

 

enough to expend the energy to write it up

 

Sometimes, I'll spend a couple hours

 

working on something, and suddenly the realization

 

hits me that what I've written is rubbish,

 

and it's time to hit the delete button

 

Sometimes, I wish that realization had hit before

 

I went ahead and posted it!
