What is a poem?

Poetry is to me...happiness and sad,

 

however I'm feeling that day; communicating

 

the emotions you're feeling inside; good, bad, or ugly

 

Writing them down seems to help, no matter what I'm saying;

 

if it's the good, keeps the feeling going,

 

if it's the bad, I get sadder and sadder

 

Some days I just don't feel like writing, owing

 

to something that triggers thinking laziness;

 

but whatever I'm feeling, I'll share it with others,

 

who may be feeling much the same way,

 

or not
