My opinion of T.V. news!

Constant drumbeat of misery, sponsored by...

 

We are experts at taking a story that's interesting,

 

and beating it into the ground; a misfortune hammer,

 

if you will; if you once cared, by the time we've shown it,

 

reported on it in a never-ending loop, over and over,

 

you'll go out to your car, remove the tire iron,

 

and proceed to beat the s**t out of the television!

 

It's better that, than getting so bummed out by

 

our reporting, you're looking for a short rope and

 

a tall step ladder, so you can plunge into sweet oblivion!
