Time, That Eel-Like Slimy B*****d!

The universal enemy!

 

There is an entity that proves elusive to all of us

 

In the time it takes you to read this, more of it passes in a blur;

 

slips through our hands like a grease-covered enemy

 

We try in vain to grab it, to maybe slow it down,

 

just a little, but the eel-like slimy b*****d eludes

 

our grasp, continues to pass at unbelievable speeds,

 

and there's nothing we can do to slow it;

 

and it's mean!  Yes, that saber-toothed dagger-beast

 

bites you in the a*s as it rushes by; I submit

 

that it doesn't fight fair; it's a hit-and-run away

 

cowardly b*****d!  Time, why won't you come out

 

and fight like a man?
