"I Can't Do Anything Right!"A Poem by Michael Stevens1/3rd humorous, and 3/4 not!In my journey down the scribe
highway,
I've been slapped upside the head
with
the frozen mackerel of truth; no
matter how
or what you write, someone will
hate it
I started off worrying about trying
to make
everybody else happy, instead of
staying
true to myself and my writing style
I worried that nobody else would
find
a joke funny, or that my editing
skills
(non-existent!) would be lacking,
instead
of pleasing myself; the hell with
it;
if I think it's a funny or good situation,
it's written,
simple as that!
