Mazes!

Mazes!

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Life, or mine at least!

"

Mazes!

I'm lost in the maze of my own mind

Can't find the exit; starting to panic!

Round and round I go; back and forth,

I don't know which way to turn,

What if I'm trapped in here forever?

You may be saying to yourself, "Isn't everybody?"

Well, that's true I guess, but you

try living with a constant thought nightmare;

believe me, you DON'T want to be in my head!

"Wait a minute, calm down there, Mike!"

For whatever reason, I brought an arc welder

along; at the time, I remember thinking,

"What in the hell are you bringing this for?"

But, thankfully I did, because I can cut my

way through the walls of my brain, and get out!
