Dear Winifred; Nov. 12A Story by Michael StevensAdvice (NOT good!) columnWarning;
advice given is NOT politically correct!
"Dear Winifred, I need your advice; my in laws recently bought me a painting for my birthday. The dilemma I'm facing is that I hate it, and
don't want to hang it on my wall for everyone to see. What should I do? Signed Dilemma Boy."
"Dear Dilemma Boy, that is a tough
one. You could slap the painting up
every time your in laws come to visit, OR, you can take Winifred's advice, and
lie like something untruthful. Just say you were cleaning it, and accidentally grabbed the battery acid instead of water. And, after spraying some on, you quickly
realized your horrible mistake. Instead of harmless water dripping down the
front, the picture began to dissolve, so you had to throw it out. Of course, you're on your own thinking up a
good reason why you confused battery acid for water. But hey, you asked my solution;
Winifred." © 2013 Michael Stevens |
