Advice (NOT good!) column

Warning; advice given is NOT politically correct!

     "Dear Winifred, I'm having trouble keeping my mouth shut about the way my neighbor treats her dog.  He's a sweet-tempered thing, always eager to please, and very loving and trusting.  The main thing I see and disagree with is that she puts the dog out on their deck, shuts the door, and the poor thing is out there all day in some pretty frigid or broiling weather.  Naturally, the dog gets pretty miserable out there and starts barking.  Instead of taking the dog back inside where it's much more comfortable, her husband yells at him to shut up.  I feel like saying something, but my friend gets defensive and acts offended.  Do you think I'm being unreasonable thinking this way?  Signed Fido-Lover."

    "Dear Fido-Lover, being unreasonable?  Ha; I've got only one question for you; are you always such a puss?  I mean, you should ream this witch but good; and her slob of a husband?  Here's what I think you should do; the next time you pay a visit to your friend, make sure the weather out is freezing, make up a pretext for luring the husband out on the deck, run back inside and lock him out, and scream, "See how well you like it!".  And when your friend tries to let him in, physically prevent her.  Sure, at first she'll be angry, listening to her husband screaming oaths of dire consequences for you, but tough s**t!  Maybe Dick Head will learn that to subject another living thing to exposure is bullshit, not to mention not letting them interact with people is bullshit; Winifred."

WInifred is absolutely right. Animals should be treated like people--and if they aren't, then their owners should be treated like animals.
