Dear Winifred; Dec. 12A Story by Michael StevensAdvice (NOT good!) columnWarning;
advice given is NOT politically correct!
"Dear Winifred, I always get
depressed around the holidays. I don't
know what it is, but I start to get the blues around Dec. 1st, and it's
downhill from there. By the time
Christmas rolls around, I'm lower than low.
Any suggestions on how I can beat the holiday blahs? Signed Blue Christmas."
"Dear Blue Christmas, I'll tell you
why you get knuckle-dragging depression; because if your family is anything
like mine, God help you; I mean they're the most downer-inducing bunch of
inebriated clowns, without the
funny. All they seem to give a s**t
about is what presents you got them, free food, and free booze. And, you're subjected to seeing Aunt Gabby in
her skin tight Christmas sweater, that the queen of gravity has told her she
definitely shouldn't wear, but does she listen? Winifred."
