Dear Winifred; Dec. 21A Story by Michael StevensAdvice (NOT good!) columnWarning; advice given is NOT politically correct! "Dear Winifred, it'll soon be a new year, and I'm so excited! It's a new beginning where I can shake off the shackles of disappointment and soar on fresh wings!...; signed Things are looking Up." "Dear Things are Looking Up, so, you fancy yourself a great writer do you? Well, far be it from old Winifred to burst your bubble, but you shouldn't quit your day job. It's rather pathetic, really, spending hours arranging and rearranging your creativity, until it's perfect, the perfect letter so that the world sits up and takes notice of your brilliant writing talent. I'm envisioning a person who likes to be in the spotlight, with the beams of brilliance blinding oneself, they're so bright. See, I too can spin poetic, the way you seem to be so eager to show off. Well, two things wrong with your thinking; one, you're nowhere near a good enough writer to hold peoples' attention, and two, your writing goes on and on, is too flowery and boring, in short, it's bullshit! Winifred."
