Warning; advice given is NOT politically correct!

 

     "Dear Winifred, what is with all shoppers around Christmas?  Pushing, shoving, cursing, and basic uncivilized, brutish behavior.  I'd like to think people would get friendlier, but I've found it's exactly the opposite.  Holiday shopping has become something I dread doing.  Any advice?  Signed Disillusioned."

 

 

      "Dear Disillusioned, you have to become an animal if you don't want to get trampled under the feet of Christmas Shopping Present.  Learn to fight for and protect your hard-won territory.  I know it's not what you want to hear, but Christmas shopping is a blood sport, and you've got to fight fire with fire.  If you don't step up your aggression to their level, they'll run over your lifeless corpse like a steam roller over a bologna sandwich.  Winifred."

Laughing here....unfortunately, this is absolutely the truth, Vidya! It seems when the stores have out of this world sales, the shoppers become out of this world crazy! I try to have all my holiday shopping done by November 1st and then I stay out of the stores till after the New Year. Your format here is very clever and I liked it. Lydi**

Winifred is right here. Christmas shopping means survival of the fittest. It's best to do your shopping on line.

It can be a full contact sport. I don't get all of the fighting for the newest, latest game system or the latest camera, but that's just me.

Yeah, it's madness; I don't get it either. It's like Black Friday; people actually set their alarm so they can be one of the first to line up outside a store and get trampled as the swelling crowd rushes to get inside before anyone else; madness I tell you, madness!
