You can be flying high one day, and spinning out of control

 

the next; and the sudden changes just keep on coming,

 

at light speed; they always catch you by surprise,

 

even though you know they're bound to happen

 

They can knock the wind out of your sails,

 

the unforeseen, the sudden, certain blindside out of the blue,

 

the disaster that WILL happen; it's just a matter of time

 

for all of us; even though it's certain, it's still a shock
