     "Dear Winifred, I am very attracted to a woman who I have a sneaking suspicion is a lesbian, as she doesn't respond to my frequent suggestions that we should go out sometime.  How can I make her see I'm crazy about her?  Signed Put-Off."

 

 

     "Dear 'Put-Off', did you consider the possibility (and from your whiny, bullshit letter, I'd say 'certainty' may be a better word!) that she thinks the slime under her refrigerator is more attractive?  Stop lusting after someone you can't have, and take matters into your own hands, unless your own hand starts ignoring your phone calls!  Winifred."

I agree with Winifred. Men have a habit of thinking a woman is a lesbian if she doesnt respond to their overtures. Maybe she just doesn't like him.

Maybe so, but he seems to think she's either a lesbian, or playing hard to get!
