'Serious' news, really?  Justin arrested, oh my God!

 

The ratings for the State of the Union very low;

 

gee, maybe because you treat us like idiots;

 

and report on things we don't give a s**t about?

 

Things that don't matter in the least or

 

are given credence by your reporting on them?

 

Seems to me you report to the lowest common

 

denominator among us; meanwhile,

 

those of us smart enough to watch T.V.

 

and chew gum at the same time are left

 

with an empty void where actual reporting should be

The Justine part made me laugh. Poor kid can't seem to catch a break and people are always so quick to judge him. I too wish they would report something other than the newest gossip about celebrities.

I kind of feel sorry for him; yeah, he wanted fame, but at what cost? I don't think he realized what he'd be giving up. You see it time and time again; a young person becomes famous, whether it's deserved or not is another story, and the reality of NO personal life possible hit's them hard. I think being a celebrity in today's world is worse by far than in times passed, because of the Internet!
