     "Dear Winifred, the big day is here, the Super Bowl, and I'm having a few friends over.  To celebrate, I'm making Bronco Chili (because it's really got a 'kick' to it; get it; a kick?  Broncos?  My secret is to add plenty of red chili powder!) and Seahawk Surprise ('Surprise' because I think the Seahawks will do exact that to the Broncos!).  I'm so nervous, as I'm just about the biggest Seahawk fan on the planet.  People tell me all the time that I'm blowing the game all out of proportion, but I think they just don't understand how HUGE this game is; I'd love your comment on what you think?  Signed I Bleed Blue and Green."

 

 

     "Dear I Bleed Blue and Green, I can't believe how clever you are; Bronco (Kicking) Chili?  Seahawk Surprise?  Eh, ha, ha!  Add lots of red chili powder you say?  Wow, no one has ever thought of that before.  Might I suggest one small name change?  I'd change Seahawk Surprise to Super Bowl Suck-Otash.  That way, those of us who don't give a s**t about the 'big' game can have something to eat too.  I mean, you act like 6 months from now this game will mean squat.  All it is a 3-hour commercial for s**t with another 45 minutes at halftime set aside as an excuse for some bullshit 'artist' to ram their latest tired and total crap single down our throats and wiggle their a*s on national T.V.  The only thing the Super Bowl means to me is an excuse to slam several beers and having all my favorite T.V. shows preempted, because apparently, people are too distracted by 'the bright shiny object' that is the Super Bowl to pay attention to anything else.  Not only do I think your friends are right, I think what they really would like to say is, 'You're f****d in the head!'  Winifred."

As a HUGE NFL fan i must disagree, but this was still funny! Definitely not a fan of the culture of the halftime show, though it is a good marketing scheme... Just curious, when you say your favorite shows were preempted...does this mean you're a big New Girl fan? lol

No, I was just playing devil's advocate; I love sports, but you have to admit, the hype is blown way out of proportion; I was trying to write this from Winifred's negative, surly attitude!
