Melancholy MomentA Poem by Michael StevensJust trying to be creative; not to worry!Sadness streams in the window from the day outside
No rhyme or reason for it; it catches
me off guard
I wonder were it comes from; it's

I work so hard to pretend it's not

but I'm exhausted and nothing
changes
how I feel; the restless wandering
mind of the
restless soul that is me; boredom
beating taps
on my brain; if only there was something, anything
to fly me away from this Melancholy
Moment
