Melancholy Moment

Melancholy Moment

A Poem by Michael Stevens
"

Just trying to be creative; not to worry!

"

Sadness streams in the window from the day outside

No rhyme or reason for it; it catches me off guard

I wonder were it comes from; it's causes

I work so hard to pretend it's not so,

but I'm exhausted and nothing changes

how I feel; the restless wandering mind of the

restless soul that is me; boredom beating taps

on my brain; if only there was something, anything

to fly me away from this Melancholy Moment

Thanks; I don't feel that way very often, but when I do, I write a poem about it!
