Dear Winifred; Feb. 24A Story by Michael StevensAdvice (NOT good!) columnWarning; advice given is politically incorrect!
"Dear Winifred, I long to have many
friendships, but it seems the harder I try, the more isolated I become. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I go out of my way to compliment, and I'm
always friendly, yet I can't seem to make any friends. I don't know if its an extension of the way
society is now days, generally more unfriendly, or what. Can you advise me on what I'm doing
wrong? Signed Alone."
"Dear Alone, I think it's an extension
all right; an extension of you being a throbbing tool. Did you ever think that maybe the problem
lies with you; that when you try to talk with someone, you shouldn't, oh I
don't know, bring up your contagious rash, or your recent mental illness
diagnosis? There must be something seriously f****d up with you. People tend to shy away from
bizarro-freaks! Winifred."
