Why is it that when you're running late,

 

You always get stuck behind THE slowest

 

Driver in history, at least since the invention

 

Of the wheel; before that, there was the fire guy,

 

But he didn't have a driver's license;

 

So he always took public transportation!

 

Next, we have the unwritten law of

 

The Driving Universe that says if you're approaching

 

An intersection, the light will change to red 50 feet

 

From the intersection, causing you to slam on the breaks

 

And everyone within a 10-block radius to look up

 

And see the moron who was going too fast!

 

Then, there's the law that says it must be raining buckets

 

When your car breaks down, miles from a phone

 

And miles from anywhere.  These are just three

 

of the estimated 34,000 unexplained laws

 

Of the Driving Universe; tis a mystery, is it not?
