Advice (NOT good!) column

     Dear Winifred, I recently had a bad experience at a local store; I couldn't find the laundry soap and asked a store clerk for help.  He gave me a sour look and replied, "Lady, I'm on break!"  Well, as you can imagine, I was so shocked, I just sat there and stared at the rude guy; plus, it's not in me to be rude back.  What ever became of customer service?  Signed A Little Upset

 

    Dear A Little Upset, here's how I think you should have handled the situation.  Being polite and not saying anything does nothing towards correcting the situation.  The loser needs to be told he's acting like a big-time dick rocket.  Questioning his sexuality, loudly, is always good.  There's always the question of his parental lineage.  Maybe ask him if his mother's still making porn movies; and that everyone's done things in their past that they're ashamed about, and it doesn't necessarily mean much.  She may decide one day that being the town pump isn't conducive to being a good mother.  There's so many creative ways to go; just rolling over and going tits up response-wise, while this smirking little s**t walks all over you isn't any kind of answer; Winifred
